A fully equipped studio in the heart of Brighton offering 1-1 personal training sessions with dedicated support and guidance to help you achieve your goals. The studio was founded by Personal Trainer Nick Bowring, who brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience from his 10 years in the health and fitness industry.

Here at Healthspan Fitness we offer a welcoming space for all to train in, with fitness plans tailored to each individual’s needs, allowing you to fit exercise around your lifestyle and within your budget.

As part of our 4 step process, we also offer an initial musculoskeletal assessment to signify any areas that may need attention. This allows us to identify any weaknesses you may have and implement exercises to help build strength in a safe a secure manner.

MUSCULOSKELETAL ASSESSMENT

The process to your pain free, healthy body starts with a chiropractic or physiotherapy assessment. This will entail a range of tests including an assessment of your posture and range of movement to help highlight any weaknesses we need to work on.

MOVEMENT ASSESSMENT

Next comes an assessment of your movement. This is where we follow on from what the chiropractor has highlighted and try to challenge your weaknesses so you can begin to feel stronger in a safe way. This stage may also include assessments regarding your fitness levels.

PLAN OF ACTION

In this stage we create a tailored physical and nutritional plan, highlighting exactly what you will need to do to achieve your goals. We outline how many times per week you will need to complete your bespoke physical program along with an estimated timeline. This is the stage where we also discuss nutritional targets such as calories and macronutrients which will vary depending on goals.

GUIDANCE

This is where our expectations and yours meet in the middle. We discuss how to build these changes into your current lifestyle. Any relationship is give and take and we do not expect a complete overhaul of your life immediately. It’s all about lots of mini wins or changes that add up to one big lifestyle changes for the better, forever. That is what we are about here at Healthspan Fitness.
